Abdirahim Abdullahi Elmi is a seasoned academic specializing in Arabic language education. He holds a Master’s, Postgraduate Diploma, and Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and has held key academic and leadership roles at the Somali National University. Notably, he served as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences in 2024 and headed the Department of Requirement Courses from 2019 to 2024. He contributed to national education efforts as a supervisor for national exams in Afgoye and Beledweyne (2022–2023), and played a central role in curriculum development and teacher training in Arabic and Islamic studies. Fluent in Arabic and Somali, Abdirahim is passionate about education, academic training, reading, writing, and tourism.
